Why Sonny?
Forget boring training. Learn by doing.
Most training is forgettable. Ours creates lasting change.
Traditional training often checks a compliance box - but does little to drive real impact. Behind the scenes, stress, disconnection, and burnout cost businesses billions. We flip the script, combining Mental Health First Aid England-certified training with experiential learning that equips teams with the confidence to act when it matters most.
More than just training, we ignite cultural change - empowering workplaces to thrive through trust, empathy, and bravery.

Why most training fails - and how we fix it.
Training that stops at awareness doesn’t work. We take it further.
Many training programs:
❌ Focus on compliance, not transformation.
❌ Overload teams with theory but no practical skills.
❌ Fail to adapt to real-world workplace challenges.
We do things differently. By blending expert-led learning with hands-on practice, we make mental health training engaging, practical, and effective - so teams aren’t just aware of mental health, they know how to support it.
Rave reviews
A lovely bunch of thanks from customers, partners, and participants.
About Sonny
Setting the stage for positive change.
Delivering mental health training that truly connects.
Graduating as a professional actor in 2007, Sonny has appeared in London’s West End and on television including roles in EastEnders, Coronation Street, and Outlander - Sonny knows the power of performance, emotion, and human connection.
He’s seen first-hand how mental health struggles affect lives, from anxiety and depression to the devastating impact of suicide. That’s why he’s dedicated his life to making a difference. As a Mental Health First Aid Instructor, Sonny blends his acting expertise with experiential learning and roleplay-based training, helping organisations move beyond theory to real, lasting impact.
To further his learning and impact on the profession, Sonny created his own podcast, My Sh**ty Actor Boyfriend, (under his previous stage name, Jake) during the pandemic which spoke to creatives about their mental health, how the industry helps/hinders it and what can be done to make effective change for the future. He spoke to everyone from actors and directors, to drag queens and porn stars to get as broad an understanding of how we all, from whichever community, from whichever background, can struggle.
“I am super passionate about bringing that same positive change to your company”
